G. K. Bhat, Poovale

An agriculturist in profession, G. K. Bhat is a Gold Medalist in the College of Law. He has been interested in the field of art from his early age. 

He began his career in art as a cartoonist and was a regular contributor of cartoons to various newspapers and magazines. Political Cartoons are his specialty. A collection of 101 of his cartoons are currently awaiting publishers. 

He is now a sculpture and artist who turns roots and stumps of quality wood into unique art works, which flourish in their natural colors and glory.

Currently, he has a collection of 84 pieces of his art work on roots and stumps of quality wood. Each piece is unique in its own way and a second piece of the same kind is an impossibility.
